Hamilton Powell, President
Before founding Powell Growth Capital, LLC, Hamilton managed the M&A activities and portfolio investments of Powell Family Enterprises, LLC which included companies in receivable collection, insurance, flooring, banks, as well as other traditional industries. Prior to this, Hamilton worked as an associate at the private equity fund, Freestone Partners, LLC in Houston, Texas. He graduated with a BBA, summa cum laude, from the University of Georgia. Hamilton resides in Atlanta where he and his wife are members of Christchurch Presbyterian. He is an active board member of the men's Christian ministry, The Capital Group and is a member of Young Presidents' Organization (YPO). In his spare time Hamilton is a hunter and enjoys serving at the Atlanta Mission.

Tom Lowe, Chief Financial Officer
Tom Lowe has a diverse financial and operational background with fifteen years in commercial banking, seventeen years as a chief financial officer or financial consultant, four years as the chief investment officer for a prominent private foundation and four years as the chief executive office of a multi chain small loan company in 13 states with 350 offices. Tom lives with his wife in Chattanooga, TN, has three daughters and eight grandchildren. Tom is active in his church and is a hunter.

Peter Wellman, Controller
Peter has been a CPA in the Atlanta market for 28 years. He started his career with Price Waterhouse & Co., spent time as a chief financial officer for a privately held light manufacturing and distribution company, and was the lead tax partner at a top 20 local firm in Atlanta. Peter has a broad range of industry experience including real estate, technology, distribution, manufacturing, services, and banking. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA in accounting in 1980 and received a masters on taxation from the University of Georgia in 1981. In his spare time, Peter enjoys golf, outdoor activities and running. He and his wife of 35 years have two children and live in Stone Mountain.
